LCD Screen Quality Tiers: From Original Service Pack to Incell
Every screen in the Apex Technology catalog carries a tier label next to its part number, and one Samsung number can appear under several of them. For the SM-S938 Galaxy S25 Ultra 5G in Black Jet, GH82-36387D is the Original Service Pack, GH82-36387D (ASMBLD) is the assembled version and GH82-36387D (OLED) is an aftermarket OLED panel; the frameless original is filed separately as GH82-36588A/36378A. This guide explains each label, how to recognise it and which job it fits. Suffixes are written here as they appear in the catalog code, in capitals; product pages may show the same suffix as (Rnw) or (Asmbld).
Original Service Pack
An Original Service Pack is the display assembly as the phone manufacturer supplies it to its own service network: original panel, glass and digitiser, factory-laminated and sealed in the manufacturer’s box with its part-number label. Samsung packs carry GH82, GH96, GH97 or GH81 numbers; Huawei and Honor packs carry an eight-character 0235 code such as 02353QJJ (Honor 9X Lite, Black); Xiaomi packs carry a 12- or 13-character code starting 5600, such as 5600010K7T00/560008K19S00 (Redmi Note 11 (4G NFC), Black). In the iPhone range the word SERVICE in the listing name marks the original service display, for example A-289, SCREEN-17G PRO MAX (2025) BLACK – SERVICE (With IC).
Recognise it by the sealed box with the manufacturer’s label and the factory protective film on the glass. On Samsung with-frame packs the display is already bonded to the frame in the factory; what else is in the box, such as a rear-cover adhesive, varies by pack. Use it for warranty-grade and insurance repairs, for flagships and foldables, and for any customer who expects an original part on the invoice.
Assembled (ASMBLD)
ASMBLD is a label from our own catalog, not a manufacturer term. In our catalog, ASMBLD means an original manufacturer display module that has been assembled into the frame or chassis outside the manufacturer’s service-pack line: the panel is original, but the part is not a factory-sealed service pack and arrives without the sealed manufacturer box. The base number stays the same with the suffix added: GH82-36329D (ASMBLD) for the Galaxy S25 5G in Navy / Dark Blue, GH82-34221B (ASMBLD) for the Galaxy A35 5G in Blue Ice, GH82-35013E/35014E (ASMBLD) for the Z Flip 6 5G inner panel in Black. Two Galaxy S23 Ultra 5G lines, GH82-30458A (ASMBLD) and GH82-30458C (ASMBLD), also carry the note (USA SPEC): they are built for the US-market version of that model, so confirm the device’s model code with sales before ordering them. Fit ASMBLD lines where the customer wants an original panel on a device with a damaged frame and a sealed pack is not required. Ask sales for the frame specification of a line before ordering volume.
Renewed (RNW)
Renewed is likewise our own catalog label. In our catalog, Renewed means an original screen that has been professionally refurbished, or renewed, before it is listed; the trade also calls such panels refurbished. Renewed lines sit either under the Samsung number with the suffix, as in GH82-30458A (RNW) for the Galaxy S23 Ultra 5G in Black, or under an internal S code such as S-1392, the Z Flip 6 5G inner panel in Black; the listing name carries the word Renewed in both cases. They suit refurbishment programmes and repairs on older models where the customer accepts a refurbished part. What was renewed differs between lines; ask sales before ordering.
Aftermarket OLED: soft and hard
OLED, SOFT OLED and HARD OLED are aftermarket OLED panels not made by the phone manufacturer. A soft OLED is built on a flexible substrate like the original and tolerates the slight bending that happens during fitting. A hard OLED uses a rigid glass substrate: thicker and sensitive to edge pressure during installation. In the iPhone range the tier is written into the listing name with a two-letter factory code so you can reorder the same build: A-369 is SCREEN-17G PRO MAX (2025) BLACK – SOFT OLED – DD (With IC), A-349 is SCREEN-13G (2021) BLACK HARD OLED – GX (With IC). Samsung lines show (Oled) after the model, either under the Samsung number, as in GH82-36387D (OLED), or under an internal code such as S-1506, SM-A176 (A17 5G 2025) BLACK LCD (Oled). Soft OLED is the choice for curved or bezel-less devices; hard OLED suits flat-glass models.
Incell and TFT
INCELL and TFT are aftermarket LCD panels that replace a factory OLED. With the backlight always on, blacks render as dark grey, contrast drops, the panel is thicker and battery drain is higher; in return they are the entry tier for a working, touch-accurate screen. The listings name tier and factory: A-211 is SCREEN-16E / 17E (2025) BLACK TFT / INCELL – ZY, A-317 is SCREEN-17G PRO (2025) BLACK TFT / INCELL – JK. Use them for economy repairs, loaners and phones near the end of their life.
CHN ORG
CHN ORG means an original manufacturer part supplied through the China market channel rather than through the manufacturer’s service-pack channel. The part itself is original; what is missing is the sealed service-pack box and service label. Both versions are listed side by side: the Galaxy A34 5G middle frame in Silver is GH82-31312B as a service pack and GH82-31312B (CHN ORG) from the China market channel; the Galaxy S25 Ultra 5G charging board is GH96-18321A with the SERVICE tag and SP-086 as CHN ORG, SP- being the catalog’s internal prefix for Samsung small parts without a printed number. CHN ORG is the practical choice for high-volume small parts such as flex cables, charging boards, buzzers and frames.
A Grade and B Grade
A Grade is a graded used original screen, not a new part: an original panel that has been inspected and graded A. The label is written into the code or the listing name: G949-00219-01 ( A GRADE ) for the Google Pixel 6 Pro 5G in Black, 5D68C19271/5D68C23405 for the Motorola Edge 20 Lite 5G (A Grade), and the Huawei P30 family, where 02354HMG (P30, Black) and 02355MUM/02355UNA/02354NAJ /02355UND (P30 Pro, Aurora Blue) are listed as A Grade Direct from Huawei. B Grade appears only on three Huawei P30 Pro lines, 02353FUQ (Aurora Black), 02353FUS (Aurora Blue) and 02353FUT (Breathing Crystal), all B Grade Direct from Huawei; sales confirms the cosmetic grading of these lines before you order.
RPLCD
RPLCD appears on two foldable outer displays, GH97-29135A (RPLCD) for the Galaxy Z Flip-5 5G and GH97-30012E (RPLCD) for the Galaxy Z Flip-6 5G, both named Black Outer LCD (Replaced Glass). In our catalog, RPLCD means an original screen whose front glass has been replaced: the display underneath is the original panel, the outer glass is new. Ask sales for the specification of these units before ordering.

Choosing the tier for a job
A curved flagship, a foldable inner display or a phone still inside the manufacturer’s warranty calls for the Original Service Pack; a Galaxy A series with a damaged frame is a natural ASMBLD case; an older model where the customer accepts a refurbished part is a Renewed case; an older iPhone kept as a second device is an Incell candidate. If a model appears in several tiers, sales can tell you which are physically in the Vienna warehouse today. Send model code, colour and tier through the contact page to request a quote.
