A marketing name such as “Galaxy A15” covers two model codes, several colours and at least three Samsung part numbers. Only the number on the label of the original part identifies a screen without ambiguity, so every catalog line is filed under it. This guide explains the code systems of the brands we stock, with examples from the catalog.

Samsung: GH82, GH96, GH97 and GH81

Samsung service numbers have the form GHxx-nnnnnL: a prefix, a five-digit serial and a suffix letter. The prefix is a part category, not a quality grade.

The suffix letter is the colour

Within one serial the trailing letter indexes the variant, usually the frame colour: the S24 Ultra display is GH82-33396A/33386A in Titanium Gray, Orange and Violet, GH82-33396B/33386B in Titanium Black, Blue and Green and GH82-33396C/33386C in Titanium Yellow; the Galaxy A35 5G is GH82-34221A in Black or Navy and GH82-34221B in Blue Ice. Colourless parts such as the frameless GH82-33385A/33402A carry a single letter.

Two or three numbers with a slash

Samsung often issues more than one number for a display that is physically the same. We list all of them separated by a slash, as in GH82-33637A/33638A/33831A for the SM-A155/A156 Galaxy A15 4G/5G in Black or GH82-22134E/22145E/22465E for the Galaxy S20 plus 4G/5G in Gray (with Camera); a box labelled with any of them is the correct part. Older listings use OR for the same thing: GH81-29805A OR GH81-29806A (Galaxy A04s, Noir, avec châssis).

E, EU and non-EU codes

One marketing name can exist in regional hardware versions that need different displays. A trailing E or EU, as in GH97-23123A E (Galaxy A2 Core) or GH96-15021A/15021C EU (Galaxy A73 5G, no Frame), marks the European kit. For entry models the model code itself changes: Galaxy A03 is GH81-21626A for SM-A035G (EU code) and GH81-21625A for SM-A035F (non-EU code). Read the full model code from the device label; connector and touch layer can differ.

SM-xxxx model code versus marketing name

The model code starts with SM-, a series letter (S flagships, A mid-range, F foldables) and digits for model and generation: SM-S928 is the Galaxy S24 Ultra, SM-F731 the Galaxy Z Flip 5, SM-A155 the Galaxy A15 4G and SM-A156 the Galaxy A15 5G. Marketing names repeat across years: Galaxy A3 (2016) is SM-A310 with display GH97-18249A, Galaxy A3 (2017) is SM-A320 with GH97-19732A/19753A.

Huawei and Honor: 0235 codes

Huawei service numbers are eight characters beginning with 0235, letters and digits mixed; Honor devices use the same system, and older Y-series models carry an eight-character 97070 code such as 97070QXM (Y3 (2017), Black). There is no colour suffix, each colour is its own code: the Honor 9X Lite is 02353QJJ in Black and 02353QJT in Green; the Honor 90 Lite 5G / X8a is 0235AEUH in Midnight Black and 0235AEUJ in Cyan Lake. Several numbers for one part are listed together, as in 02352CCJ/02351VPR/02351XTY for the P20 Lite (2018) in Black or 02355MUR/02355UMY/02354NAH for the P30 Pro in Silver/White. Some Huawei packs are supplied with a battery and some without; the listing name states it, as in 0235ANTF (Honor 400 Lite 5G, Velvet Noir, Without btry).

Xiaomi: 5600 codes

Most Xiaomi display codes are 12- or 13-character strings that begin with 5600 and end in 00, mixing digits and letters, usually with a segment tied to Xiaomi’s internal model number (J9, J17, G7, K7T). Where Xiaomi issued more than one number for the same display, the catalog lists them with a slash: 56000400J900/5600280J9A00 (Mi 10 Lite 5G, Gris/Tarnish); 5600030J1700/5600090J1700 in Atlantic Blue, 5600040J1700/56000E0J1700 in Pearl Gray/Tarnish and 5600050J1700 in Rose Gold for the Mi 10T Lite 5G // Redmi Note 9 Pro 5G; 56000300G700/56000B00G700 (Redmi Note 8 Pro, White). Older Mi and Poco lines carry a purely numeric twelve-digit code such as 560610057033 (Poco F1, Noir) or 561010006033 (Mi 8, Blue). Watch the “(Global Version)” tag on lines like 5600100036300 (Redmi 17 5G, Tarnish) and 560002O19AP00 (Redmi 15 4G // Poco M7, Black): global and China editions do not necessarily share a number.

Apple: SCREEN codes

Apple part numbers are not used in the trade channel, so the iPhone range is filed under an internal A code with a descriptive listing name built from model, year, tier and build: A-180 is SCREEN-13G PRO MAX (2021) BLACK – SERVICE (With IC). SCREEN-11G means iPhone 11, SCREEN-16E / 17E a panel shared by two models, and SERVICE marks the original service display. Aftermarket tiers replace SERVICE with SOFT OLED, HARD OLED or TFT / INCELL plus a two-letter factory code (DD, JK, RJ, GX, ZY, TC) identifying the panel maker: A-363 is SCREEN-17G PRO (2025) BLACK – SOFT OLED – RJ (With IC). “(With IC)” means the display IC is on the flex, so the screen fits without transplanting the chip from the customer’s original; “(Without IC)” assumes your technician moves it across.

Google, Motorola, Oppo, Realme and OnePlus

Google Pixel displays use G949-nnnnn-nn numbers, e.g. G949-01360-00 (Pixel 10 Pro XL). Motorola uses 5D68C plus five digits, e.g. 5D68C19192 (Edge 20 5G, Gray). Oppo and OnePlus share seven-digit codes and a newer twelve-digit series: 4130192 (OPPO A77 5G / K10 5G), 621029000922 (OPPO Find X9 Ultra, Tundra Umber), 2011100302/4907282 (OnePlus Nord CE 5G). When one panel fits two brands the name joins them with a double slash: OPPO Reno 8 Pro (5G) // Realme GT Neo 3 5G.

Internal Apex codes

Lines without a printed manufacturer number carry an internal Apex code. S-, X-, O-, R-, H- and MT- stand for Samsung, Xiaomi, Oppo, Realme, Huawei/Honor and Motorola displays, and every iPhone display sits under A-. SP-, AP- and XP- cover small parts such as charging boards, buzzers and flex cables of Samsung, Apple and Xiaomi (SP-133 is the Galaxy S24 FE 5G main flex listed as CHN ORG), and GP-00x covers Google charging connectors. Do not confuse these with Samsung’s own accessory numbers, which also start with letters, e.g. EP-DG950CBE (Type-C Câble de données) or GP-PTU021SOAWQ (25W travel charger): those are manufacturer codes. Quote every code exactly as listed, including any suffix in brackets.
